Supplies, textbooks and enrolment fees: a look back at the largest back-to-school operation the foundation has run so far.
For three weeks, our teams and volunteers prepared, sorted and handed out school kits across the eight countries where the foundation works. In total, 6,800 children started the year with a full set of supplies and their enrolment fees paid.
The operation takes serious logistics every year: families are identified from June, supplies are ordered in bulk from local suppliers, then distributed school by school with the head teachers present.
